What does this privacy policy cover?
Our privacy policy explains how Loan Instant Cash collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our website, submit a loan request, or contact us by email, phone or mail.
Effective date: effective as of the date of publication on this page.
We operate a free online service that connects people seeking personal loans of $500 to $5,000 with independent third-party lenders and lending partners. Because the whole purpose of the service is to share your request with lenders, much of this policy describes that sharing so you can decide whether to use the service. We are not a lender, and each lender that receives your information handles it under its own privacy policy.
By using our website or submitting a request, you agree to the practices described here and in our terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not submit the form.
What information do we collect?
We collect information you give us on the request form, information gathered automatically when you browse the site, and information we receive from lenders, partners and service providers that help verify identity and prevent fraud.
Information you provide
- Identity and contact details: name, date of birth, home address, email address and phone number.
- Financial details: income amount and source, employer or benefit information, pay frequency, housing status and checking account details such as routing and account numbers.
- Government identifiers: Social Security number and, where requested, driver's license or state ID number.
- Loan details: requested amount, purpose and credit self-assessment.
- Communications: messages, call recordings where permitted by law, and survey responses.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, our servers and tools record technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, referring website, and the date and time of each visit. We may also record how you interact with the form, such as which fields you complete, to improve usability and detect fraud.
Information from other sources
Lenders and partners may tell us whether they made an offer or funded a loan. Identity-verification and fraud-prevention providers may confirm that the details you submitted match public or commercial records.
How do we use your information?
We use your information to process your loan request, share it with lenders and partners that may be able to help, communicate with you, prevent fraud, improve our website, meet legal obligations, and send marketing you can opt out of.
More specifically, we use personal information to:
- Match your request with lenders that serve your state, amount and credit profile.
- Verify your identity and protect you and our partners from fraud and misuse.
- Respond to questions, complaints and privacy requests.
- Send service messages about your request, including follow-up if a lender needs more information.
- Send offers for other financial products or services that may interest you, where permitted.
- Analyze site performance and improve our forms, guides and tools.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders and lawful requests from authorities.
We do not make lending decisions, so we do not use your information to approve or decline a loan.
How can you opt out of marketing?
You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any message, stop marketing texts by replying STOP, and ask us to stop marketing calls by contacting us. Opting out does not cancel service messages about an active request.
When you submit the form, you may agree to receive calls and text messages, including those made with automated technology, from us and from lenders and partners at the number you provide. Consent to marketing calls or texts is not a condition of receiving a loan. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out with us does not automatically opt you out with lenders or partners that already received your information. Contact those companies directly to stop their messages. Our contact page lists the fastest ways to reach us.
How do we protect your information?
We protect personal information with encrypted HTTPS connections, access controls that limit data to staff and providers who need it, secure hosting, and monitoring for suspicious activity. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
We review our safeguards periodically and require service providers to protect data under contract. You can help by using a secure device and network, never sharing passwords, and being wary of anyone who asks for an upfront fee or your banking password while claiming to represent us. We will never ask for either. If we learn of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
How long do we keep your information?
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our agreements and meet legal, tax and regulatory record-keeping duties, and then delete or de-identify it.
Retention periods depend on the type of record. Request records may be kept longer than routine website analytics, for example, because lending and consumer-protection rules may require us to show when and how consent was given. Information that lenders or partners already received is retained under their own policies.
Do we collect information from children?
Our website and services are intended only for adults aged 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Lenders require borrowers to be adults, and some states set a higher minimum age.
If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
What privacy rights may you have under state law?
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, request a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its sale, sharing for targeted advertising, or certain profiling.
California consumers, for example, can request access to and deletion of their personal information, ask what categories we collected and shared, and direct us not to sell or share it. Residents of several other states have similar rights under their own consumer privacy laws. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Some information is covered by federal financial privacy law, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and certain state rights may not apply to it. Deletion rights also have legal limits; we may keep records needed to complete a transaction, detect fraud or comply with law. Because sharing your request with lenders is essential to the service, opting out of that sharing means we cannot process a new request.
To make a request, email us with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity by matching details you provide with our records before we respond. You may use an authorized agent, who must show written permission from you. We respond within the time required by applicable law, and you may appeal a denial by replying to our decision.
How will we update this policy, and how can you contact us?
We may update this privacy policy as our service or the law changes, and the updated version takes effect when posted here. For questions or privacy requests, contact us by email, phone or mail at the details below.
Material changes will be highlighted on this page, and where the law requires, we will ask for your consent. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
